I've had a few brazillians, out of simple curiosity. Yes they do hurt. I don't believe the result is worth the pain and the expense. My hubby thought the first one looked bizarre and there was the added negative that my nether regions were so painful afterwards that I couldn't handle him being anywhere near them until the hair started to grow back anyway. So it was a waste of time really.

Other ladies have them regularly. Some just hate pubic hair and do it for that reason. Others are pressured into it by their partners. It troubles me to see 15 or 16 year old girls wanting brazillians because their "boyfriends" demand them. If anyone demanded such a personal choice from me, they would be either dumped or I would demand exactly the same from them. Quid pro quo, Q.E.D, yes?

Men have found women attractive for 45,000 years with or without hair and I don't think the hair issue is going to cause a dramatic decline in the birth population.

At the end of the day, if you want to do it, then do it. If you feel pressured by your partner, then don't do it - there is something seriously wrong with a partner that wants/demands you do undertake something so painful for their own personal gratification. Strikes warning bells with me.
